The Molewood Festive Bonfire Inferno

We’re super excited to be hosting the Molewood Orchard Festive Bonfire Inferno on Saturday 12 July as part of the Greytown Village Festival of Christmas.

It’s pruning time in the orchard, and Wendell has been piling up a humongous pile of branches in the cornfields ready for burning.

Expect music, entertainment, doughnuts and dumplings, plus a toasted marshmallow fundraiser for the Kuranui College First XI Girls Football Team.

Hosted by the ancient and mysterious Druid, Braeburn the Bounteous!

The Greytown Fire Brigade will be there keeping everyone safe. Part proceeds from the event go to the Fire Brigade to support the fabulous job they do in the community.

Wear your gumboots, bring a torch and come along for an epic evening of flames and fun!

Access available through the “secret door” in the shelterbelt at the west end of Farley Avenue. This area has plenty of parking and is closest to town. Also from the orchard entrance at 17 Mole Street.

Limited tickets available for safety reasons. Book early to secure your place. 5-6.30 pm, Saturday 12 July.
